Salsa Macha with Figs
This is a play on salsa macha and is the first of many variations of dried chilis together with dried fruit. It is less spicy than the plain Macha so it is perfect for those with sophisticated palates that want depth of flavor but prefer a milder salsa.
Ingredients: Olive oil, Dried morita peppers, Peanuts, Dried figs Sesame seeds, Brown sugar, Salt.
This salsa can be used in the same way as the salsa macha. This one is specially good with duck tacos, or it can be simply used on a warm english muffin with butter. This salsa is also an amazing addition to any cheese platter.
